The goal of Glenda’s therapy is to create meaningful and effective change in her clients’ lives. Glenda tailors her approach to meet each individual’s needs using a variety of therapy strategies because each person’s journey presents unique problems and challenges.

Her style is authentic, non-judgmental, and supportive. She works with individuals, couples, families, and adolescents who are in various degrees of distress. Glenda strives to relieve suffering and address painful issues. She collaborates with clients to improve their self-awareness and insight. Clients learn new ways of coping with life’s stressors to bring about healing and growth.

Glenda has worked in a private practice setting since 2011. She has been deeply committed and passionate about joining with people on their journey as they heal past wounds, mend relationships, and experience greater fulfillment in their lives.

She is a member of several professional organizations including The American Counseling Association, Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, and Chi Sigma Iota international honor society for professional counselors.

Glenda is a licensed mental health counselor and holds a bachelor’s degree from Lipscomb University and a master’s degree in counseling from Trevecca University, both in Nashville, Tennessee. Glenda successfully passed the National Counselor Certification exam, the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling exam, and has been trained in EMDR therapy.
